Very hard-hitting facts presented here. We talk about India becoming a developed country, you are quite right in saying that more than half the population is without basic needs. The covid situation is going to make it worse.

In an era marked by relentless technological advancements, socio-political upheavals, and a fast-paced lifestyle, it's no surprise that anxiety has become an almost ubiquitous companion for many. This phenomenon has led to what some refer to as the "Age of Anxiety." The term aptly captures the prevailing sense of unease and apprehension that seems to have embedded itself into the fabric of our daily lives. to read more: https://www.manipalhospitals.com/millersroad/blog/anxiety-normal-or-a-sign-of-a-mental-health-disorder/

Very informative and well researched article. Anxiety is very challenging to deal with and we should make more people aware about it. I found website that create awareness about anxiety. Do check out https://yourmentalhealthpal.com/. Highly recommended.

Been following your writing for a while.( And also on Twitter , until I took a break from it a couple of months ago )

Have always loved the frankness of your writing style and this post especially hit hard. The dire honest helplessness of the situation as well as on your part to say to the reader save yourself while you can, that made me emotional.

I wish more people realize this , talk about this, make this a point of concern instead of just numbers, ROIs , and other bloody endless status metrics.

The fact that men suffer this crippling anxiety along even with their friends and family reeling through the same loneliness can't be spoken about enough.

Note to self : Be sympathetic , be kind, kinder still. The amount of privilege and luck to be able to write a comment here instead of worry about Covid is immense. Gratitude needs to turn into compassion.

Thank you.

I think it is one of those nonsense and idiotic posts which talk about 'negativity' only (one more time, you patiently go through the blog post and you will realise how much pessimism and negativity it has spread) in the name of customer awareness and presence/lack of financial literacy and awareness. This blog post is nothing more than today's any newspaper in India which are filled with pandemic spread, its number and deaths, waiting ambulances, waiting corpses at the crematoriums, shortage of oxygen and what not. It is sickening. Sickening increases sickening and negativity increases negativity. And sickening does not solve my problem.

The author could have concluded this article in not more than half page by telling what are the financial psychological consequences of this pandemic and the way forward to deal with it.

This was an excellent post. It’s one of those things which everyone knows/feels but is waiting for someone to say it out loud.

Thank you so much for writing this.
